A Conversation with Declan

I was cleaning the kitchen and was ready to start the dishwasher. It is his "job" to put the little Electrosol tablet in, lock it and, turn it on. Here is the conversation:


Me- "When you get bigger you will be loading and unloading the dishwasher too."

Declan-(I just barely heard him)- "I will have my princess do it."

Me- "WHAT?"

Declan- "I will have my wife do it."

Me- "Well buddy, between now and when you have a wife you WILL be learning to load and unload the dishwasher."

Declan- "But Daddy doesn't do it."

Needless to say I have a few things to teach the little guy!
